ESPN X Games and MasterCraft Boats present MasterCraft Throwdown – a first-of-its-kind, invitation-only competition that will take place at Millennium Park in Grand Rapids, Mich. on Saturday, August 8th. Boasting the largest single event cash purse in the history of competitive wakeboarding, the MasterCraft Throwdown will showcase some of the biggest and most storied names on the water today.  In addition to the most elite athletes competing in the wakeboard competition, ski jumping legend Freddy Kreuger will attempt to soar the length of a football field in hopes of breaking the current World Skifly record of 299 feet. The MasterCraft Throwdown will also feature a full line-up of entertainment, including a live musical performance by chart-topping, hard rocking country superstar Kip Moore, pyrotechnics and plenty of on-water antics orchesterated by Gregg Godfrey.
